 (I) Road project

1. Used to control reflective cracking of asphalt roads

The most suitable geotextile material for inhibiting reflective cracking of asphalt roads

According to MTS fatigue test, Roatile® geotextile can delay the cracking of asphalt concrete, and its delay time is 76.0% higher than that of the polyester filament geotextile and 3700% higher than that of the polyester glass fiber geotextile.

Advantages:

  • Good uniformity with CV less than 3%
  • High tensile strength, low elongation, creep resistance
  • Equivalent tension in all directions
  • Strong lipophilicity, and good bonding with asphalt
  • Super acid and alkali resistance, suitable for various environmental conditions.

2. Used for separation in roadbed

Ideal material for the separation of roadbed and foundation layers of roads, railways and airport runways

Advantages:

  • Strong anti-bursting ability, good transmutation resistance, excellent acid and alkali resistance, suitable as a separation layer for the roads with various work conditions and geological conditions.
  • With excellent drainage and filtration, it prevents from intermixing of adjacent dissimilar materials while ensuring the water between different layers can flow smoothly, so as to guarantee long-term stability of the roadbed.

3. Reinforcement for road project

Roatile® high-strength geotextile can replace geogrid-type reinforcement material

With high strength, small distortion and good transmutation resistance,Roatile® geotextile is an excellent reinforcement material for road widening and roadside retaining walls, which can improve the road performance in the following aspects and prevent differential settlement of road:

  • Maximum breaking strength up to 100KN
  • Improvement of the overall stability of construction
  • Improvement of the bearing capacity of foundation or roadbed
  • Improvement of rutting resistance
  • Reduction of differential settlement of road

  (II) High-speed railway project

1. Track sliding layer

With many proprietary technologies, it is the only designated product for the sliding layer of the pilot section of Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway

  • With superior abrasionresistance, it does not fuzz after 3 million times of friction
  • High strength, low elongation, creep resistance
  • Equivalent tension in all directions
  • Different surface treatment with the friction coefficient of sliding layer less than 0.3
  • Excellent water repellent property to prevent water from getting into the sliding layer

2. Track separation layer

Advantages for the application of Roatile® geotextile as separation material

  • Superior durability and acid & alkali resistance to ensure service life
  • Excellent abrasion resistance and anti-fatigue load capacity performance, MD/CD strength greater than 48KN/M
  • Good compression resistance, vertical stiffness greater than 800KN/MM/M2
  • Controllable friction coefficient of 0.2-0.8
  • Good drainage to ensure stability of the fabric pore size, prevent clogging and maintain smooth drainage

3. Asphalt mortar bags

Protective layer resistant to leachate corrosion

Advantages:

  • With high strength, strong anti-bursting ability and good transmutation resistance, it can be applied on both sides of the geomembrane for protection, so as to prevent damage to geotextile under different work conditions and geological conditions.
  • Excellent acid and alkali resistance, leachate corrosion resistance

 (IV) Hydraulic project

1. Embankment protection

Upgraded substitute for aggregate reversed filter

Application of Roatile® geotextile reversed filter layer for embankment can prevent soil particles from being washed away by water seepage and avoid soil flow and failure by piping.

  • Stable filtration opening size (FOS) to maintain good permeability under pressure
  • Fine particles can pass through the geotextile to prevent clogging; coarse particles are limited  to ensure the stability of soil
  • High strength, low elongation, low creep, durable and non-deformable

2. Port buildings

Application of Roatile® geotextile as the drainage channel behind the wall can reduce the water pressure behind the wall and ensure the stability of the buildings. Roatile® geotextile is a good material for use as drainage/ water-conducting channel behind the wall.

3. Dam drainage

5. Seepage prevention and drainage for tunnels and underground works

Roatile® geotextile – strong support of waterproof sealing system

  • With high strength, strong anti-bursting ability, good creep resistance and strong acid & alkali resistance, it can be applied on both sides of the geomembrane for protection, so as to prevent the geotextile from being punctured by sharp rocks.
  • With stable filtration opening size (FOS), it can maintain good permeability under pressure, form good drainage channel under sprayed concrete, reduce water pressure and ensure the stability of waterproof sealing system.

 (V) Slope greening

Roatile® geotextile bag – foundation stone of flexible ecological slope projects

  • With high strength, strong anti-bursting ability, good transmutation resistance and strong acid & alkali resistance, it is suitable for various slopes and provides long-lasting support force for flexible ecological slope projects.
  • With stable filtration opening size (FOS), it can maintain good permeability under pressure. With long durability, it does not deform easily. It can ensure the smooth flow of water between the geotextile bags and enable the plants to grow freely through the bags.
